On Tuesday, 30th June 2015, the 4th Annual Mediterranean Business Aviation (‘MBA’) will be held at The Palace Hotel in Sliema, Malta. The Hon. Dr. Edward Zammit Lewis, Malta’s Minister for Tourism (responsible for aviation), will be delivering a keynote address at the event.
For manufacturers, operators, and interested organizations, the summit will offer a unique opportunity to delve into the aspects affecting the future of the aviation industry. While promoting a debate on the future of business aviation, the summit will allow attendees to learn about the latest developments in light jets, explore the regional air taxi market, discuss different business models, and learn about the regional infrastructure development.
Confirmed expert speakers include the President of the MBAA and partners, directors and managers of companies that are involved in the aviation industry – from law firms to aircraft management and inspection providers. This will provide a great opportunity to network with leading experts in the industry.
WDM International’s Partner for Legal & International Tax, Dr. Jonathan De Giovanni, will be chairing the event. Dr. De Giovanni has delivered various seminars in the field, and also delivers lectures at the University of Malta, to law students, on the fiscal aspects of aircraft registration. His field of professional practice includes advising clients in relation to aircraft registration, and structures involving aircraft ownership, financing and leasing.
